This product is a semi hydrate of (-) - (S) -3-methyl-9-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-10- (4-methyl-1-piperazinyl) -7-oxo-7H-pyridino [1,2,3-de] -1,4-benzoxazine-6-carboxylic acid. Calculated as anhydrous and solvent-free, the content of levofloxacin (calculated as C18H23FN3O4) should be 98.5% -102.0%.
Character
This product is a white to light yellow crystalline powder, odorless.
This product is slightly soluble in water, extremely soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, easily soluble in glacial acetic acid, and slightly soluble in 0.1mol/L hcl solution.
